Main purpose of the role
BUL is the largest factory in Arabia, producing 100 k tons per year, mainly of Home Care and Personal Care. The individual will be responsible for the end to end financial controlling side of the Sourcing Unit. He will be leading the Cost Accounting department of the factory and partnering with the Factory Manager, Production, Planning, Logistics, Quality & Safety.
Roles & Responsibilities
Global Control Framework
Ensure that the Global Financial Controls Framework is embedded & operating within Supply Chain
Factory management and control
Manage factory balance sheet reconciliation, asset tagging and verification, stock counts, provisions and manage Audit Requests related to supply chain finance (internal and external)
Cost release
Monthly and adhoc cost release
Ongoing
PPV check during month
Monthly reporting Production cost report generation Consumption variance report extraction and summary Price variance report
Cost and Savings monitoring
Work closely with factory manager and relevant teams on production cost monitoring and deep dives and savings projects Lead Weekly Cost management update Drive improvement to reach production cost target
Month end closing
SU related Month end JVs - Production and distribution
CAPEX
WBS Creation - raising request in xpandion and ensurind on time capitalization
Key Competencies & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance is a must, Chartered Accountant is a plus. 57 years’ experience Factory experience is a must FMCG experience is recommended Good communication and analytical skills Post graduate degree is a plus
